On-site marketing for the win!
A key principle of marketing that is often overlooked is to sell more to the customers we already have. On-site marketing is one of your most powerful tools to increasing sales. Take advantage of your captive waiting areas (line-ups, food service, washrooms etc) to make sure everyone that visits your farm knows about all your seasons, sales, groups offerings and membership programs. Spending a little bit to communicate those things effectively and professionally will definitely provide immediate returns on investment.
Don't forget about the washrooms
Branding the farm, and encouraging word-of-mouth can even be done in the washroom! Statistics show that tourists will often share feedback about their trip to the facilities, so don't miss the chance to give them a good story! Use signage to be clear... but also memorable. This is also a captive area to let them know about all your offerings and seasons- but avoid over-cluttering.
Birthday Party Packages
Birthday programs can be lucrative when properly planned and marketed. Once a facility becomes a beloved birthday destination, that income can become very reliable over generations. However, it is also quite easy to run poor party programs that lose income instead. Attraction sign collections
Installing your new attraction is not complete until you wrap it up with a professional and branded signage package. Consider creating attention grabbing "header" signs that people will want to capture in their family photos. Make sure to add layers of creativity and added theming that your visitors will really appreciate and talk about. No installation is complete without clear rules signage, place in key visible locations.
